The MEPCO Team offers design and engineering services to assist owners, architects, engineers and general contractors with preliminary planning and design build construction. Our in house mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers are capable of providing details, drawings and specifications for any project.

MEPCO design & build services provide detailed coordination of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems at the earliest possible phase of the project design. This minimizes the number of conflicts from the conception of the project all the way through to the completion and allows the construction team to focus on the other disciplines while keeping the project on schedule. This service offers a tremendous value by utilizing the MEP design build concept the project timeline is significantly reduced and subsequently costs are reduced. Changes are implemented quickly and communicated to the construction crews much faster.

Coordination

MEPCO provides complete “cradle to grave” in house single point coordination of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. As early as the bid process our MEP Team begins to evaluate the equipment and design looking for conflicts and value potential. Because the estimators for each discipline are located within the same office, it is easy to share information and knowledge between the MEP trades. Information is shared and conveyed earlier rather than later, and problems are identified before the construction begins minimizing any potential impact to the project.

Upon award of a contract the MEP Team immediately begins to prepare coordination drawings to facilitate the precise location of all equipment, ductwork and piping to assure adequate space for installation and to also verify compliance with all governing codes. If problems are found they are resolved before they have the chance to impact the project. These drawings are also used for the installation and by virtue provide extremely accurate as-built documentation for the client.
